A group of seven powerful Luami once roamed the earth, or so the legends
say. Each of these Luami was exceedingly powerful in a certain branch of
magic and harnessed his skills to help the city of Q'thelas to battle the
powers of darkness. But then the mages disappeared, and Q'thelas was
overrun. Some rumors insinuate that some of these powerful magicians can be
found in or around the city of Ruthien. These are legends, passed down
among the oral traditions of elves and halflings, and should be treated as
such.
