Rule 1.5 - Thou shalt not screw with newbies in general

If a newbie somehow gets your attention, either be polite, or ignore
them.  Mistreating new players is a good way to drive them off, and
high level players who do so consistently will be "politely" asked to
find a different mud to play.

As your mother said, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say
anything at all."
