Item description:

The tachi is an older version of the katana.  This one seems to have
combined several other affects to produce a truly unique weapon.  A layered
damascus blade combines the pressing technique of the desert raiders with
the layering of the far east.  Its gold mesh wrapped grip is adorned by
several star sapphires.  The guard seems to have been made from pure
adamanitum laced with platinum to allow heavy enchanting.  As you grip the
blade, the balance is more of piercing weapon versus the typical slashing
role of the blade.  The edge of the blade almost seems to bite your finger
as you test the sharpness. No doubt, this blade could slice through steel
as easy as it could bamboo.
