This robe is known as the robe of the immortal.  These robes are rumored to
have been created by a very powerful wizard long ago.  They slowly drain
and age their owner, yet will not let him die from natural causes.  They do
however bestow a great deal of magical power upon their owner, drawing from
the lost life they have stored over time.
