Item description:

The circlet is hard to examine, because as light goes near it, the
light is sucked into nothingness.  You reach out, and you can feel
some substance there.  It is ring shaped and can slip over your wrist.
Be sure to carry your torch in the hand not wearing the circlet, however,
or it might absorb the torch's light, rendering it useless.
