This is a light caliber matchlock musket.  The barrel is smoothbore and in
need of a good bluing.  The stock is of cheap pine and has several knots in
it.  Not very high quality, but is cheap enough to produce in large
numbers.  Despite its quality, you're sure it would still hurt to be shot
by it.
