Item description:

This pole of silvery metal is about three finger-widths thick. Inspite of
being made from mithril, it is quite heavy. One end is slotted, as if for
receiving a spearhead, the other end has clearly been wrenched off by
something of incredible strength. There are faint markings up and down the
shaft, as if it once bore engravings.
