Item description:

These are pair of upper armplates made of wood and coated with a thin layer
of chrysolite on the outside.  The chrysolite on each armplate isn't a
single piece--rather it is plain created by strips of varying lengths and
widths of the shiny crystalline stone that have been fitted together to
create an almost seamless surface.  The balsa wood wraps around the arm
just above the elbow, so that is easy to put on and off with arm straight
but remains snug while being worn.  Tiny triangles have been carved into
the wood around the edges of the chrysolite plating and around the rims of
the wraparound armband, all pointing inward.
