Item description:

The handle of this three and a half foot flail has been made out of
ironwood and banded in several places with steel for extra support.
It has a two foot steel chain with a nasty looking spiked ball
attached to the end. Even though it is fairly heavy, it is so well
balanced that few would even notice the weight.
