Item description:

This shield was made from the stone known as deathstone which is only
obtainable on the plain of nightmares. The shield has the power to grant
the user a boost to melee attacks and due to its light absorbing qualities
also provides added opportunity for sneak attacks. Although the shield has
many spikes which would do damage upon contact with an opponent it also has
several tiny spikes which face inwards towards the user's wrist. These
smaller spikes drain some of the user's life force in exchange for the 
melee boosts it grants.
