Item description:

These armbands are made from a curious alloy of bronze plates and zap
crystals. Ambient sunlight seems to deflect away from the wearer,
reflecting a portion of the visible spectrum into the air near the bands
instead. The bronze plates primarily act as a sort of miniature lightning
rod, and the zap crystals, set in between each bronze link, absorb it and
convert it into magical energy for their user.
