Item description:

This suit of leather armor is made from overlapping strips of alternating red
and black dyed hide.  It covers the whole torso, as well as the upper arms
and thighs.  It has loop holes for a belt, and buckles made of polished
bronze.  A red patch bearing a black serpent is sewn into the left shoulder.
