Item description:

The elbow spear consists of a short, thick pole with a wooden loop at one
end and a wide, serrated metal triangle at the other.  A side-grip
protrudes from the pole, close to the sharp end.  This straight grip is
wrapped with leather and is flush with the blade of the spearhead.  One
wields it by inserting the arm through the end loop and holding the
side-grip.  It is a weapon designed for close melee.
