Item description:

A lightly swirling, slightly ellipitical disc of water, about as thick as a
man's hand, hovers here. It exerts enough upward force to hold a person off
the ground, so that they don't sink through it, but it sinks downward to
contact the surface it sits upon when it carries even a small amount of
weight. It must be in contact with bare flesh, however - it repels all
other solid objects.
