Item description:

A protective piece of metal armour designed to be worn on the lower legs
and held in place with leather straps. Each guard is made from gold plated
steel and extends in an arc through about one hundred and twenty degrees.
Thick leather straps are fitted at top and bottom to allow it to be fixed
securely in place. On the outer face of the greaves a pattern of concentric
circles has been engraved.
