Thousands of plates of silvery metal, each with shimmering with rainbow
colors, are linked in long strands. Each strand dangles from a heavy mantle
of incredibly thick white hide. When worn, the strands encompass the whole
body from the neck down like a great cloak. The wearer can easily pass
their limbs between the strands, but when struck, they magically adhere
together into a nearly impenetrable mesh.
