Item description:

This device consists of a heavy base, which contains some kind of spinning
dynamo. A heavy iron rod with a ball on the end sticks out of the base. The
rod is wrapped with tight, overlaid coils of copper wire to the thickness
of several inches. Crackling bolts of electricty explode from the ball at
random, deflecting metal objects. Electricity tends to be drawn into the
rod and coil to be harmlessly dissipated.
