How strange... beyond minor tailoring, this suit of armor does not appear to
be held together in the same way that most other mail is.  The backing is a
heavy, greyish-green leather, and the scales are attached tightly to it - but
not in any fashion you can discern.  It seems unlikely, but perhaps this is a
skin without the natural scales removed...
