Item description:

A solid beam of smoothed ironwood, this heavy cylindrical staff is
fashioned from a still living treant sapling. Roots at the base of the
trunk writhe hungrily, powerful sun runes giving them some semblance of
sentience. At the top of the staff grows a large toadstool, its wide-based
stalk attached via tendril-like leaves, arranged in a blooming flower
pattern. To either side of the mushroom extend twin ropes of thick ivy,
which continually twist around anything nearby. Spores of brilliant blues,
greens and yellows swirl in a vortex of primary colors around the staff,
one occasionally detaching from the moving mass and flying away.
