This staff appears to have been made from the roots of some tree.  It twists
about so much that you feel that if you put any weight upon it one of the
bends in the stick would simply give and snap.  However, there is a magical
feeling to this piece of wood, so you most likely will not be using it as a
walking stick, anyway.
