Item description:

A rod of wood, over five feet long and two inches thick.  The wood is
straight-grained and brown.  The end of the staff is shaped like the clawed
paw of a large cat.  The staff writhes and wriggles in your grasp, as if were
alive and aware of you touching it.  Vitality radiates from it, making you
feel stronger and tougher.
