This hearty plant has leaves with purplish spots. It has one drooping,
miniature, lily like yellow flower and its petals strongly curve back,
nodding from the top of a central stem. The narrow spike sticking up
from the plant that somewhat resembles a snake's tongue is where the
plant got its common name of adder's tongue.
