A large chunk of grey stone is streaked through with pitch black veins,
resembling nothing more than the heart of some huge underworld beast. Some
alchemists argue that the metal contained in this rock is not really a metal
at all, but a hole in the world, a void in creation itself. At any rate, the
material's properties create an imbalance that allows great power to be drawn
forth, though that power is dangerously unstable and difficult to harness.
