Item description:

This highly unusual weapon consists of a short grip surrounded by a blade. 
The blade protrudes upward a short distance, then curves forward all the way
under the grip, then loops around the back of the grip before ending at a
point just before touching the quillion.  The blade is only edged on the
outside, but the proximity of the blade to the grip means that it has to be
held in an unusual sideways position that would be difficult to master. 
The blade is made of shanix, a gold-based alloy.
