 This tome of about one hundred pages is a comprehensive technical guide to
constructing, programming and handling a battle golem.  It is written in a
strange language, but a general translation spell, still potent after
centuries, makes it readable, if a little too complex for anyone to apply 
except for an experienced mage-crafter.  The tome fleshes out the materials
needed for the frame, armor, weaponry and power source, as well as the
necessary charm spells and will-binding needed to keep a golem from turning
on its creator.  You also see a section about setting up proper
counter-spells to make the golem magic resistant to keep an enemy from taking
control of it. Written on the inside cover is string of seemingly random
words: "troll fox hambone vegetable monkey"
