This heavy tome is written in an ancient language that appears to have
elven roots.  A weakened translation spell renders most of it readable.  It
explains the advanced crafting techniques used to harden copper and
aluminum for use as armor.  The nomenclature is very complicated and
obviously requires knowledge of in fields of magic you've never heard of
before.
