On the face of the amulet, carved with great care and precision, is the fierce
visage of a black dragon.  Around the edge are many indecipherable runes that
faintly glow with a light of their own.  This undoubtably possesses some great
power, but there is probably no way to tell just what it does until you find
yourself in the type of situation it was meant to protect against.
