This thick paper is saturated with greasy, smelly slime. The ink is
slightly smudged and the handwriting is terrible, but you can read it:

"Free people of the Sloe Badlands. I bring you good tidings from my patron.
He wishes to discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement."
