Item description:

A semi-round platter, made of a thin sheet of metal supported around the
edges by a wooden frame.  There are holes in it in various places big enough
to fit fingers and possibly a thumb through, for stability and ease of
carrying. The holes have sharp edges, and it looks like holding it for too
long might be a little painful.  Perhaps it was meant to be simply supported
from below, with the holes serving to help stability and nothing else.
