Item description:

A long iron spike covered in muck and grime looks over used.  The top of it
has been pounded flat from repeated hammerings into the ground.  The sides 
of the spike are covered in scratches from the many rocks it had to pound
through to stand firmly in the dirt.  A polished area near the top shows
where the ropes have been resting when it's been used.
