Item description:

Light doesn't seem to reflect from the surface of these armplates. They
look to have been crafted out of a strange, jet black metal that appears to
have become cold and dark with the passage of time.  The interlocking
plates would keep every portion of each arm of the user well protected and
hidden from normal view.
