This is the skullcap of some very large creature, and is Vaguely bovine in
shape - with the eyes on opposite sides of the head, and thick interlocking
bone plates for protection of the soft matter underneath.  It has had a
couple of holes drilled in it, and a strap attached.  Perhaps it would make a
good shield, as it is too big and flat for you to wear on your head.
