This scrap of paper almost reads like a news story with many letters
illegible......... 

..... dedicated to the eldest gods and performed with great composure and
respect by the highest of the order.  

The construction of the Colosseum has taken many  ears and will stand in
eternity as asymbol of our  city's  reatness, indeed the King himself was
commented on saying  o. The crown prince who helped with the design was
lauded for his contribution, helping greatly with recent accusations  aid
against him regarding unorthodox magical xperimentation.

Large and open to the masses this huge area can be used for sports and
talks with ease, indeed no sooner was it open the it was announced one such
great exhibition was to be held in the coming  yea , with everyone of any
magical or mechanica skill invited to show o! their p owess. 

Along with several dignitaries we were shown around the impressive
structure, and allowed to roam  almost at will behind the  cenes and the
impressive gladiatorial training grounds. Several knights  from the holy
ordrrs were commenting on the facilities and the potential for training
troops, one  even joked 'does the prince intend to raise his own arm ?' The
public attending were astounded by displays of ireworks and several small
children ........ 

The rest is burnt away, which is a shame as it had started to get
interesting...
