This long crossbow has been widdled from the wood of an ash tree and
polished to gleaming perfection. It is mounted onto a stock of a strange,
ethereal metal you do not recognize. The surface is smooth under your
fingers, and you feel a tingle of power as you handle it. The string is
sturdy but light, suggesting it has been enchanted to be easy to pull but
never break.
