Item description:

A thin band of black gold that spreads into a large oval mounting at its
top. Set into this, and held in place by four ornately shaped claws, is an
enormous shimmering yellow-green gemstone.  Just over one inch in diameter
the stone is elliptical in shape and perfectly domed.  Running through the
centre is a narrow vertical band of milky white.  When view in the right
light the colours alter to a darker pinkish purple and the ring takes on
the appearance of an all-seeing cat's eye.
