Item description:

Old and faded inscriptions are etched around the rim of this golden
shield, and a slight glow still eminates from it. The back of the shield
is solid metal, which might lead one to assume that the gold is just a
thin top layer. A metal hoop and handle are on the back, along with a
small loop at the top used to hang the shield.
