These look like hollowed out insectoid legs of astronomical proportions.  A
joint has been cut out of whatever these came from, and your legs can fint
perfectly inside the hollow tubes.  Your knee can bend easily by putting the
joint in the right place. They do seem to be a bit too long, and it is more
difficult to move in them than you expected, but at least it would take an
Unholy Eater to get through them.
