It is simply two cloth covered pieces of thin wood holding together a large
number of loose papers.  The papers are thick, old and yellowed, and have a
large, flowing script on them that has almost faded beyond visibility.  Some
of the wording looks familiar, vaguely like those magical cold spells you
never learned...
