Item description:

This conch shell spirals from a narrow tip out to a flared bell-like end. 
It forms a natural horn, and blowing in the one end produces a haunting
mournful tone from the other, deep and carrying.  The shell is black with
yellow and white speckles, arranged in no discernable pattern.  The shell
is most likely useless, but pretty nonetheless.
