CRC Press, 93rd edition.  Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

It is split into sections, about 8 of them... each has over 500 pages, one
of which has 1322.  The pages are paper-thin, and the print is very fine.
It seems to have been well used, and the binding seems to favor a certain
section in the middle of the book.  You open it up, and geometric symbols
and strange phrases leap out at you.  Circled on the page is the strange
rune, 'C17 H21 N O4'.
