This area tour was run by Dentin.  A rough, edited transcript of the text, with notes and
additions, is provided below.
The haunted mansion resides in Jo'Kerin, the city of the undead, near the northeastern
edge.  It was built by the god Kefka prior to the year 2000.  This tour started from
the front porch on the southern side of the area.
	Dentin: this is going to be mostly an exploration party.  I dont actually know much
	of the history of this area, and I'm going to be powering through all the doors so we can see everything
	Dentin: if you go through it for real, you'll have to figure out the keys and so forth to actually get into places
	Jakalas: who created the area then, if you don't know it, sir creator?
	Dentin: that's an excellent question
	Dentin: this area was originally built by the god Kefka, back before the turn of the century
	Dentin: my guess would be that it was constructed around the 1997 timeframe
	Dentin: I honestly don't know if it came before castle dragnok or after.  I think it came after
	Dentin: kefka only built those two areas, but both of them have a lot more neat stuff in them than appears
	Jakalas: is this area on the old alter server then?
	Note - Jakalas is referring to the 1995 server used for anniversary events.
	Dentin: and no, the old alter server was wayyyy before this area was created
	Samon: what was kefka like as a person?
	Dentin: kefka as a person was just a guy, I dont really remember much about him because he didn't interact with me
	Roan: I dont remember him
	Dentin: note that there are backstabbing mobs in here which might very well one shot kill you
	Dentin: there will probably be a couple of random deaths due to that
	Dentin: welcome to the house
	Dentin: my initial exploration of this zone had me a bit paniced because the map
	was all stupid, but it turns out that once you split out the staircases, it maps pretty well
	Dentin: about the only real nonlinearity is with this porch, which isn't
	quite wide enough for all the windows and doors, but it's close enough
	Dentin: heh, a lot of the desciptions are funny
	Dentin: like the male ghost here
	Dentin: feel free to attack things
	Dentin: when you come here yourself, there's some neat stuff in that safe
	Note - the safe is in the western front room.
	Dentin: this is one of two staircases going up
	Dentin: we're going to ignore it for now
	Dentin: this is the poker room
	Note - from a quest standpoint, the poker room has all the good stuff.
	Dentin: looks like most of the stuff here isn't actually aggro
	Phalange: no, not really
	Uicli: Just the dolls and zombies methinks
	Phalange: and the walls
	Dentin: no kefka area would be complete without toilets
	Sea: heh true
	Dentin: much like dragnok, this area has a lot of decoration stuff in it
	Dentin: funny thing about kefka, he never scrimped on domestic services
	Uicli: What of that exit to the north?
	Note - Uicli is referring to the boarded up exits out of the kitchen and laundry room.
	Dentin: the two exits are nailed/boarded shut
	Dentin: they dont go anywhere
	Kerrigor: How big is this area? Seems like a pretty big space.
	Dentin: it's pretty big, yeah
	Lizz: he  .. powder room
	Dentin: that's this layer.  We basically went in a circle around the west side,
	to the north, across through the hallway and back to the middle
	Dentin: we're going to go up now
	Dentin: and there's the first of the nasty mobs, heh
	Uicli: That's the backstabbing mob obviously
	Dentin: back in the olden days, that mob could backstab you to death through all protective spells
	Dentin: that's harder now because of limitations in how backstab works on players
	Alicinia: those days weren't that long ago lol
	Dentin: heh, I know
	Dentin: chucky is popular
	Dentin: interestingly enough, you can look down into the lower rooms from here
	Lizz: oh wow you can
	Dentin: like I said, lots of goofy stuff in here
	Dentin: no haunted house would be complete without rotting dog carcasses in childrens rooms
	Dentin: and monsters in the closet
	Phalange: or dolls that say they're chucky and wanna play.
	Kerrigor: There really are some great descriptions in here. 
	Gordan: wow. bondage zombie
	Dentin: heh wow
	Note - there really is a bondage zombie in there.  Go find it.
	Dentin: no wonder all the ghosts here are pissed
	Dentin: the bathroom door is locked
	Dentin: eww
	Note - the 'eww' above is because the bathtub is full of body parts and blood.
	Samon: lots of yous in these longs
	Dentin: yeah, it's a very old area
	Dentin: keep in mind that this area is older than danielmaster
	Note - Danielmaster is a problematic teenage player who often claims to be more than he is.
	Dentin: this is the front of the house
	Dentin: theoretically, the porch is below us somewhere
	Dentin: eww
	Note - this other bathroom is gross too.
	Dentin: man, what is with all the bathrooms in this place
	Kerrigor: In fairness it is a big mansion. If I had a huge mansion, they'd all have en suites. 
	Dentin: heh yeah, but you'd think plumbing costs alone would have sunk the place
	Dentin: ok, that does it for the top floor
	Cheetah: theres an up at one end of the hall
	Dentin: there is?
	Dentin: just a minute, let me check
	Dentin: I'll be darned
	Dentin: lets go check it out
	Dentin: yay runic trapdoors
	Dentin: we had cockroaches like that in my last x2 apartment
	Uicli: Chaos Soul eh
	Dentin: I dont think we can go in there and actually get back
	Dentin: one way exit
	Uicli: well, we can't, you can
	Dentin: I think all those vortexes go to the same place
	Dentin: this is a pretty boring attic
	Dentin: the basement is the bottom floor, it's the last part of the place
	Dentin: this floor is creeepy
	Note - group starts attacking a wall with grasping arms coming out of it.
	Uicli: annoying wall is annoying
	Dentin: unload spells on it or it won't die
	Dentin: on those walls, probably the best bet is nonorm weapons, rot, and sickening touch
	Dentin: they're way over mob resist composite
	Note - it was pretty much all the group could do to kill the walls.  Single players
	and small groups would probably either sneak through or just flee repeatedly to get to the other end
	of the corridor.
	Note - the group stumbles upon a room containing a demon chopping up body parts.
	Dentin: I wonder if that demon was responsible for most of this
	Dentin: the house I mean
	Dentin: last place
	Dentin: the boiler
	Dentin: negative regen in there, so if you have to bail out, go ahead
	Dentin: and that's it.  We did the whole thing, except for one room with more wailing arm walls in it
	Blood: I seem to remember something being in the clock
	Dentin: is there stuff in the clocks?
	Dentin: what the hell, where are the clocks
	Eldrin: they move around and time out dentin. I had to find them by c locating
	Dentin: that makes sense
	We find a clock, pry it open with building commands, and enter it.
	Dentin: dont go wandering off
	Dentin: heh, the witch
	Dentin: and that's truly it
	Dentin: there's no way out of this section, so we have to bail
